Berry Cherry Spinach Protein Smoothie

berry spinach smoothieThis smoothie is packed full of foods that promote health and will give you a great boost in the morning or after a workout!  The flax seeds and chia seeds carry huge nutrient payloads; both containing fiber, healthy fats and omega 3’s!  And along with the other healthful ingredients in this shake, this is just what the doctor (or Mad Radish!) ordered!

Berry Cherry Spinach Protein Smoothie

½ cup frozen blueberries

8 frozen cherries (or fresh, pitted)

1 one-inch cube frozen spinach

¾ – 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

½ tsp pure vanilla extract

½ tsp melted coconut oil

1 Tbsp ground flax

1 Tbsp ground chia

Blend all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet and serve immediately.  Serves one.
