Creamy Avocado Yogurt Dressing

avocado dressing2 This one is a winner! It is a versatile dressing or sauce that can be used for pretty much anything!  It is good on tacos, lettuce wraps, salads, in egg salad and basically anything you can imagine!  Avocados and olive oil are full of healthy fats and greek yogurt is high in protein so you can’t go wrong with this delicious creamy sensation!

Creamy Avocado Yogurt Dressing/Sauce

1 large avocado
1 Tablespoon + 2 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
1 teaspoon hot sauce (omitted)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt

1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Cover and refrigerate.

The Mad Radish says:  This is a really thick dressing so feel free to add some apple cider vinegar or white balsamic vinegar to thin it out!  Especially if you like zippy tasting dressings!

The Snobby Wasabi says:  I will have to tell my personal chef there is no need to purchase cheap store bought dressings anymore!

  1. I was waiting for this one! I am running out to buy the ingredients for my personal chef right now. He’s in my kitchen. What you don’t believe me?

    • Hi Cambie. I would say probably around 2-3 weeks. You could make a smaller serving size if you are worried about it going bad before you use it all up! It is also good to make if you are bringing a salad to a party or other gathering. 🙂 Thanks for following my blog!!
